By accessing and using WaveTab ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WaveTab provides a biometric payment system that allows customers to make payments at participating restaurants using palm recognition technology. The Service includes:

  • Palm biometric enrollment and authentication
  • Payment processing and transaction management
  • Order history and receipt management
  • Loyalty rewards program
  • Dietary preference and allergen tracking

3. User Accounts and Enrollment

To use WaveTab, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent
  • Provide accurate and complete enrollment information
  • Complete palm biometric enrollment at a participating location
  • Link a valid payment method to your account
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account

4. Biometric Data

Your palm biometric data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Biometric data is encrypted and stored securely
  • Palm scans are converted to mathematical representations, not stored as images
  • Your biometric data is never shared with third parties without consent
  • You can request deletion of your biometric data at any time
  • Biometric authentication is voluntary; alternative payment methods are available

5. Payment Terms

By using WaveTab for payments, you agree that:

  • You authorize WaveTab to charge your linked payment method for purchases
  • All transactions are final unless otherwise stated by the merchant
  • You are responsible for all charges made using your palm authentication
  • Transaction disputes must be resolved with the merchant directly
  • WaveTab acts as a payment facilitator and is not responsible for merchant services

6. Loyalty Program

The WaveTab loyalty program is subject to the following terms:

  • Points are earned automatically on qualifying purchases
  • Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred
  • WaveTab reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time
  • Rewards and cashback are subject to terms set by individual merchants
  • Unused points may expire according to program rules

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent security features
  • Not share your account access with others
  • Report any unauthorized use of your account immediately
  • Keep your payment information current and accurate

8. Limitation of Liability

WaveTab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the past twelve months.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. WaveTab reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your biometric data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

WaveTab reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
