Using the KDS
Basic Workflow
- 1.Order arrives - New order appears with a chime sound
- 2.Start preparing - Tap the order card to change status to "Preparing"
- 3.Mark items ready - Tap individual items as they're completed
- 4.Bump order - When all items are ready, tap "Bump" to remove from display
Pro Tip: Use keyboard shortcuts for faster operation - Space to bump focused order, Arrow keys to navigate between orders.
